Medical Bill Payment Ends in Disorderly Conduct Charge.

In this day of outrageous medical bills, billing department errors, no one willing to help straighten out a bill, I am sure we all have wanted to do what Jason West did.

According to the Deseret News of Salt Lake City, Jason West went to the Basin Clinic in Vernal , Utah on May 27th prepared to dispute an outstanding $25 bill.

Assistant Vernal Police Chief Keith Campbell says that after asking staff members whether they accepted cash, West dumped 2,500 pennies on the counter and demanded that staff count them.

Campbell says the incident upset staff because pennies were strewn about the counter and floor, and West's action served "no legitimate purpose".

Police later issued the 38-year-old West a citation for disorderly conduct. That carries a fine of as much as $140. Or 14,000 pennies.

If everyone put one penny in an envelope with a note that it is to be applied to payment of Jason West's fine and sent it to the Vernal Utah Police Dept., I bet we could have Jason's fine paid in no time flat.

I am getting my envelope ready now, how about all of you!

What do you expect from Charlie Sheen?

This past weekend Charlie Sheen opened his one man show in Michigan. The patrons walked out stating he did not give them a show and they wanted their money back. What did they Expect! With the rants that Charlie has put on lately did these people think they would get a real show or just another rant. Apparently the rant is what they got.

Anyone that would pay to go see Charlie Sheen is just fulfilling his “I am WINNING” thinking. What a waste of money and time. For the Chicago show Charlie got a friend to act as reporter and ask him questions so that he could rant in order to the questions. Does anyone really think that Charlie could really do home rehab and hang out with his “angels” , who are obvious hanger-on’s?

Anyone going to Charlie’s show is just perpetuating his obvious downfall and wasting their time and money. This is a man that was making more money than he knew what to do with ($2,000,00.00 a show), had great kids, and career. Maybe his ex’s did not “Understand” him but could anyone understand him as he is now.

Maybe if he does hit rock bottom he will realize how much he has thrown away and how stupid he is acting. In my opinion Charlie Sheen is definitely NOT HOT!!!

Elmo in altercation and he was not tickled!

Who could not love that happy Sesame Street character ELMO?

According to the Associated Press the police in central Florida say a man dressed as ELMO was attacked this past Saturday afternoon at a music store in Winter Park, but he was able to fend off the attacker. The costumed man had been hired to perform as ELMO at a children's event at Guitar Center, but police say the attacker began throwing punches at ELMO. The performer fought back, even breaking a few fingers on his attacker's hand (no children saw it, if that's what you're wondering). Police haven't released the names of either man. Officers broke up the fight and took the attacker to the hospital, where he was treated and detained for a - all together now, people - mental health evaluation.

Elmo HOT!, Attacker NOT!

Come on folks, he is a Sesame Street character, What did he do to deserve being punched? Laugh to loud?

If you know please comment and let us know.

Lindsay Lohan, Judge Schnegg or Judge Fox, Who is right?

Lindsay Lohan failed 2 drug test that were a requirement of her probation from previous drug/dui charges. She was required to go to rehab at the previous conviction for 90 days and was released after 23 days when the doctors said her condition had improved and there was no reason for her to stay at the facility. Obviously she should not have been released early as she failed the mandatory random drug tests and admitted it.
She went before the judge that approved her release from rehab and who immediately violated her probation. Judge Fox asked her attorney did he want to suggest bail and he said "no".
If any regular people (not special celebrities) were to violate their parole in this manner they would have been held in jail for the 30 days for parole violation. They would not have been able to get in touch with an Assistant Supervising Judge of the Criminal Courts on a Friday night. Judge Patricia Schnegg released Lindsay on a " Writ of Habeas Corpus", which refers to the release of an inmate due to unlawful detention. (She violate her parole!)
Do you think this may have already been set up by the attorney and that is why he did not request bail from Judge Fox. (Maybe he knew he would not get it.)
Poor Lindsay has to wear a SCAM bracelet (this will be her third) and she can not be around any place that serves or sales alcohol or around any known drug users. No nightclubs for Lindsay!
Maybe the talk of Lindsay moving out of LA to get her life back was not a bad idea. Find a rehab center outside of the LA area and do your 90 days. Think about what is important to "YOU"!
Get away from both of your parents (people we feel are causing the crazy life you are living) and start getting to know the real Lindsay and learn who you are. (Not who everyone else wants you to be.)
Do your time as you did violate your probation and you are aware of it. Maybe the Judge will let you do it in rehab. But stay in there this time. Maybe being without the crutch of being "Lindsay Lohan" will actually let you find out who Lindsay Lohan really is.

Terry Jones, is he an American or a Terrorist?

Terry Jones, of the Dove World Church, has planned an "International Burn a Koran Day" to coincide with the remembrances of Sept 11th.

This man claims to be a Christian and an American but he presents himself as the opposite.

Terry Jones is putting our troops in harms way with his rants about Islam being evil. Is this not what the Talaban says about Christians? He is jeopardising our relationship with all religious groups around the world including those that support us.

All of our soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq are being targeted more because of this man. He is giving Iran and other radical factions more ammunition to use against us. He is trivializing the freedoms that these brave men and women are fighting for and represent here and abroad.

Terry Jones claims to be an American but has forgotten one of the basics that America was founded on: "Freedom of Religion"

Jones has been denied a Burn permit and if he goes ahead with his plans he should be arrested. If he goes ahead with his plans he should be arrested for inciting a riot as I am sure that is exactly what will happen across the US and around the world. For every serviceman that is killed because of this, he should be charged with murder and for every serviceman that is hurt he should be charged with attempted murder.

This man does not represent any Christian I know and does not want anything except to put himself up above everyone else on a powerplay of his own. Maybe he needs to reread his bible, the constitution and the bill of rights. Ego seems to be taking over his brain. "All men are created equal", "Acceptance" and "Forgiveness" .

Please do not let this small minded man, economic circumstances, or anything else make you believe what he wants to do is the right thing to do. IT IS NOT!!

If you are considering joining in his burn, ask yourself "have I lost anyone; family, friend or neighbor, in this war and did they die in vain". Did your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and further back waste their lives forming this country, giving us the freedoms we enjoy for you to join in throwing them all away.

If you ARE a Christian ask yourself "What would Jesus do?"

Think before you do anything on Sept 11th, about the men and women that lost their lives in the Towers and the fact that they came from all religions.

Obama and George W Bush, Hot and Not!

I heard so much rhetoric from the Republican Conservatives about how Obama should give GW Bush credit for the surge that got us out of Iraq. Fox News has gotten so far right that I don't even consider them Conservatives or even factual any more. No one is all left or all right, Conservative or Liberal. I consider myself both.

Obama is my HOT pick today because he fulfilled his promise to stop the combat phase of the Iraq war. Our boys and girls, husband and wives, friends and family are coming home. Further, let us not forget that while doing a pretty good job of trying to keep pre-election promises, the President has had to deal with MASSIVE unexpected complications from the economy and natural disasters ( you know, oil spills and such). Republicans are quick to criticise lack of solutions to the overall meltdown that they spent 8 years achieving and lately have done all possible to keep it from being repaired just to avoid the blame they so rightfully deserve.

George W Bush is my NOT HOT pick because he let Cheney and others tell him what to do and took us into a war based on lies and false information. Over four thousand US Soldiers have died that should not have. Over 700 Billion dollars have been spent on a war we should not have been in. GW decided that Sadam Hussin had to go because he threatened his father when his father did not finish the first Iraq War. The greatest tragedy is the loss of our soldiers and countless Iraq citizens. We may never know how many really have died.

The money wasted needlessly on the entire folly should have been used to provide health care, education, housing, medical research, disaster relief, and so much more here at home.

We were already at war in Afghanistan (you know, now the longest war in our history). It is possible that if we had not gone to war in Iraq we would now be out of Afghanistan.

Wouldn't it be nice if all of our soldiers were home with their families and friends. Sadly, many are just to DEAD to do that!

We are not the rulers of the world. Our freedoms are based on principles of personal liberties that we seem to want to take away from everyone. The Iraq War that GW got us into has placed us in a position of the United States being hated throughout the world. Suspicion and hatred in this country are turning back the clock of progress and reversing the hands of time, and propelling us backwards to a time without all the freedoms our fallen died for. It's appalling!

Can we honestly say that we are safer from terrorist attack than we were before. I don't think so. Because of the war, many US Citizens of the Islamic faith have been ostracized in their communities. What happened to religious freedom? If they wanted to build a Catholic Cathedral near the Twin Towers location I bet there would not be pickets and problems.
(Even though Catholic priest have molested thousands of children in the United States)

The 9/11 tragedy should not be forgotten but we need to remember that there were men and women of all faiths in the Towers that day.

In conclusion...
President Obama=HOT!
G.W. Bush and his gang of thugs=NOT!

Senator Ted Kennedy, He Gave SO Much for Us

Senator Ted Kennedy passed away on Tuesday from Brain Cancer.

Ted Kennedy was always in the shadow of his older bothers, John and Robert, but he has left his mark on the world with the work he has done in the US Senate.

Kennedy has had a lot to do with almost every major Democratic and Bipartisan legislative initiative for the past 45 years and was undeniably one of the greatest champions of civil rights and health care reform this country has ever known. In retrospect, it is without a doubt that he is no longer eclipsed by the memory of his brothers.

The 1980 Americans With Disabilities Act, the 1965 Voting Rights Act, and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 are just a few of the landmark pieces of legislation he was involved with. He had a helping hand in raising the minimum wage and expanding health care for children. The list is too long to even begin to post here.

Probably the greatest complement we could ever give Ted Kennedy, would be to press forward and turn his dream of Health Care Reform into reality.

Kennedy's accomplishments are many and the People of the United State should be thankful he was with us for so long.
